Knittig 60th Anniversary

Matt's grandparents celebrated their 60th Anniversary on July 25, 2009.

While we were in Missouri, we spent some time with family in St. Louis.

July 4th Holiday Weekend

For our first 4th of July as a married couple, we decided to go to Chicago. Our plan was to meet up with Jer, visit the Lincoln Zoo, Ikea, and of course LegoLand. Unfortunately mother nature had different plans. As we were walking to the zoo it started to rain, so we decided to eat instead.

Of course, IKEA made the cut.

As an added bonus, we got to hang out with Matt's friend Kurtis; who was one his roommates in Spain.

We drove by Medieval times, rumor has it Matt likes castles.

The last stop of our weekend was Legoland in Schaumburg. We were the only couple without children, so that was kinda weird. But Matt had to played with legos, so maybe I did take a kid to Legoland.

They even had the Chicago skyline, very cool!!

I still can't believe that it's just legos.
